Our client is a Government Agency based in Wellington New Zealand who is looking for a BCM to delivery of business continuity planning, for all of their business functions in accordance with their Business Continuity Policy and Framework and aligned to ISO 22301:2012 and the Business Continuity Institute Good Practice Guide.
As part of its ongoing process of risk assessment and enterprise risk management, they are working to enhance its Business Continuity Management (BCM) Programme, in order to ensure that the organization can continue to deliver its key services, while maintaining the safety and security of staff, should a disruption in the normal course of activities arise. Significant work has been undertaken over the last year with regard to BCM, including the preparation of a BCM Policy and Framework, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) formats, training of staff, preparation and testing of the National Incident Management Team etc.
In order to further strengthen BCM, our client is seeking to complete the BIA process for all business units and assist the business units to create workable BCPs.
To be considered for this position you must be proficient in the application of business continuity management techniques included in the principles and guidelines of ISO 22301:2012 and the Business Continuity Institute Good Practice Guide.
We require the services to be delivered at in their offices in Wellington, but may include travel to other locations as required.
